Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Lumea ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Lumea is a virtual pet companion app that transforms your real-life activities — steps, focus time, and mood journaling — into resources for nurturing virtual pets. The App is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.

You may use the App as a guest or sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Guest accounts store data locally and on our servers, but may not be recoverable if you lose your device without binding an Apple ID.

You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; (b) use automated scripts or bots to interact with the App; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or other users' accounts; (d) exploit bugs or glitches for unfair advantage.

Virtual pets, items, and currencies within the App have no real-world monetary value. They are licensed to you, not sold. We reserve the right to manage, regulate, modify, or remove virtual items at our discretion.

The App may access Apple Health data (such as step count) with your permission. This data is used solely within the App to generate in-game resources. We do not sell or share your health data with third parties.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of virtual items or progress data.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the App.
